"Here in Northern Thailand living and working at a children's home with kids from the different hill tribes in the surrounding mountains. This piece is of a girl named Nit from the Hmong tribe. The white tiger is a very rare animal who's beautiful white fur is the result of the presence of a recessive gene making them one in a 15,000 thus very rare and very special. I explained to Nit that she is like the white tiger in that she is beautiful and one of a kind. She is also a very serious and sometimes fierce little girl (it has taken her about 3 weeks to warm up to me)"
